The Sports Car Club of America, SCCA, has proposed a major shift in the way the current Stock class is defined in name and allowances. It is the vision of the proposals to remove entry barriers and hopefully reduce cost for the majority of members that want to compete at this level.

There have been two proposals presented. The first was written in the April SCCA "Fastrack" issue. A revised proposals based on member feedback has been presented in the May issue of SCCA "Fastrack".
