Featured Car/Driver of the Week
Steve Burger is the defending Gulfcoast Autocrossers Ltd. (Fort Myers, FL)1997 Super/Stock champion. Steve flies an airline out of Florida during the week and flies his red 1986 Corvette around the autocross course on the weekends! Steve is a member of FTD enthusiasts. A handful of ultra competitive and talented drivers that regularly attend GCAC events and battle it out for the FTD of the event. Winning their class is not enough, they want to be the fastest! Even though Steve is running in a stock class, the modified classes need to do their best to beat him. This will probably be the last year for the Vette. Steve will be using a 1998 Z-28 next year. We need some more submissions. Lets don't be modest now! Here is a good chance to reward someone in your club that does well on course or in the support of your organization. It's time they get credit for the excellence.
