The Challenge Cup Points have been updated. After 6 events the competition is close. There is still time to get points in for the season and trophy. To receive a Year End Trophy (Y.E.T.) at the Equipe Rapide Awards Party in December, you must compete in a minimum of 6 events and have at least 50% of the class winner's points. The final points are calculated by taking each drivers best 7 events.

Hello Fellow Autocrossers!

Reminder: Take a close look at the event day time schedule and note that we have made a minor change in the event start time which should better reflect what time the runs actually start.

Elections for Board of Directors have been held and directors for 2008/2009 are: Kim Whitener, David Whitener, Andy Cost, Danny Mehl, David Smart, and Dennis Rothermich. In addition to being a director, Danny Mehl will be taking over newsletter production/mailing duties from Gary Kramar, who opted not to run for re-election this year. Danny was active in the club several years ago before moving away and we are really glad to have him back and helping out again.

Everyone should give some BIG THANKS to Gary for past newsletter production and board participation and also BIG THANKS to Eddie Hernandez and Andrew Hahn, other past board members, for the hard work they have done for the club.
