Chief Steward

The Divisional Steward normally appoints the Chief Steward. The person appointed will usually be someone from outside the hosting region.

The Chief Steward’s job is to oversee and control the event operations in a supervisory and judicial capacity by interfacing with all specialty Chiefs and to have a working understanding of their responsibilities and duties. You must make sure they have the people, equipment, and understanding of their specialty to accomplish the job. You must work with all of the specialty Chiefs to keep the event running smoothly and in a timely fashion.

The Chief Steward is to observe the event to make sure event procedures are following the Solo I & II rulebook and the supplementary regulations, and that the event is operating at its best. You can to be used to sort out any procedural related problems during the event. Know the rules and supp. regs and be fair, friendly, and firm.

The Event Chairman can be used to sort out any site-related problems during the event.
