Chief of Registration

Provide enough workers to check-in pre-registrants and register new people. At least Two (2) different stations will need to be manned. It may be very advantageous to split the 2nd station into multiple lines to increase the through put.

1st station: Make sure waiver is signed and hand out wristbands. Look at SCCA membership cards and Solo I & II Rule Book. Hand out entry forms to those that haven’t pre-registered. They need to be told to step aside to fill out the entry form. The entry form should be filled out before they go to station #2.

2nd station: Check-in pre-registrants and give them their registration packet. Write their class and car number on the supps. Worker assignments should be pre-assigned. Write their work assignment and heat on their registration packet.

Register new entrants. The new entrants will get a blank entry form at station #1. The necessary paper work requires assigning a car # and writing the assigned number on the entry form so that it can be entered into the computer, writing the assigned number on the class sheet (reminder: numbers cannot be duplicated within the class), collecting their entry fee plus late fee, give them their registration packet, and write their car number and class on the envelope.

Let the Chief of Workers know who you want working for you so that he or she can assign them to registration. It is your responsibility to contact them and tell them what time they are needed. The Chiefs and those working tech and registration need to be checked in before registration actually begins. I suggest at least a half hour before registration opens.

Packets are not necessary unless the Region has numerous items to hand out. However, if packets are used, they need to be stuffed before registration begins.

Necessary supplies:

  1. Pens / pencils
  2. Clipboards
  3. Change $50
